This opportunity is tailored for an experienced Cardiovascular Technologist specializing in cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology procedures. Operating in a state-of-the-art cardiac cath lab, you will play a crucial role in assisting with diagnostic imaging and therapeutic interventions that improve patient outcomes. Qualifications and Desired Experience: ARRT (R) certification required New York State Department of Health Radiologic Technologist licensure Minimum of 2 years of experience in Cardiac Cath Lab and Electrophysiology Lab settings Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred Ability to work a shift from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM On-call availability preferred but not mandatory Responsibilities: Prepare and operate imaging equipment in cardiac catheterization and EP procedures Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures Maintain sterile field and ensure patient safety at all times Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for seamless patient care Monitor equipment performance and troubleshoot technical issues promptly Adhere to all regulatory and safety standards, including radiation safety protocols Benefits & Perks: Opportunity to work in a leading cardiac center with advanced technology Supportive work environment with a focus on professional development Contract position offering flexibility with shift schedules and optional on-call availability This contract role invites dedicated cardiovascular technologists to contribute vital expertise in a high-acuity setting.
