The new facility will include 24 inpatient beds dedicated to the mental health needs of children and adolescents. • Hospital privileges at ECU Health Medical Center, a 974-academic medical center and home to eastern North Carolina's only children's hospital • Inpatient services will include providing consults for the ECU Health Medical Center's emergency department and behavioral health unit • Outpatient services will include providing care in both ECU Health's behavioral health and obstetrics gynecology clinics for perinatal patients ECU Health Physicians includes an academic practice model (ECU employment) and a community practice model (health system employment).
