This is an exceptional opportunity to practice in a high-volume, collaborative environment with access to advanced technologies and multidisciplinary support.The ideal candidate will be board-certified or board-eligible in cardiothoracic surgery, with expertise in adult cardiac procedures and thoracic surgery. We are looking for a surgeon who is committed to clinical excellence, innovation, and compassionate patient care.Position Details:• Perform a full spectrum of cardiothoracic surgical procedures, including CABG, valve repair/replacement, aortic surgery, and thoracic oncology• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including cardiologists, pulmonologists, intensivists, and advanced practice providers• Participate in quality improvement initiatives, clinical research, and educational activities• Contribute to program development and strategic growth of the cardiothoracic service line• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, regulatory standards, and best practices in surgical care• Provide mentorship and guidance to residents and fellows, if applicable• Call required, expected rotation: 1:5 weekend call; 1:7 weekday call• Ability to primarily focus practice at one of our Methodist Healthcare hospitalsQualifications:• Board certified or board eligible in Cardiothoracic Surgery• Eligible for an unrestricted medical licensure in Texas required• Minimum of 3 years of experience preferred, candidates with less experience will be considered and encouraged to apply• Experience in routine and complex coronary work, valve repair/replacement and transcatheter valve procedures• Experience in routine thoracic and minimally invasive lung surgery is preferred but not required• Experience with minimally invasive cardiology surgery is preferred but not required• Looking for a candidate to complement an established team with substantial regional market share in all areas of cardiothoracic surgeryIncentive/Benefits Package:• Opportunity to join an established and respected practice, formed in 1997• Employed position with competitive compensation• Comprehensive benefit package that includes health and dental coverage• Relocation assistance• Paid malpractice Client Details Address7700 Floyd Curl Dr CitySan Antonio StateTX Zip Code78229
