Learn more at#. Position Purpose: Clinical # Provide gastroenterology services to patients of the practice on both an out-and in-patient basis. Comply with all local, state and federal regulations regarding documentation and coding, billing and collections, referrals and other clinical practice regulations. Supervise non-physician providers as requested. Prepare patient records, charts and reports as appropriate. Needs to meet quality, safety and service standards of Saint Anthony Hospital. Assume responsibility of patients at Saint Anthony Hospital facilities where medical staff membership and clinical privileges are held when requested by Emergency Department. Participates in call coverage. Participates in practice#s clinical management system and processes. Required to utilize EMR for all clinical documentation # Organizational Requirements Responsible to Clinical Department Chairman of Internal Medicine or his/her designee for practice and clinical performance. Responsible to Clinical Department Chairman of Internal Medicine, or his designee for non-clinical behavior. Provides input to the Practice Manager, as appropriate, in the performance review process of practice#s non-medical staff. Attends staff meetings and department meetings at the Saint Anthony Hospitals Facilities where active membership is held, including practice site and medical staff meetings.
