Job Description

This full-time, bilingual (Spanish) Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) position offers the opportunity to provide essential speech therapy services in an elementary school environment located near Carpentersville, IL, with nearby access to Naperville, IL. The contract role begins ASAP and extends through May 21, 2026, requiring 37.5 hours per week dedicated to supporting students' developmental needs. Key Responsibilities: Plan and deliver individualized speech-language therapy addressing assistive technology, augmentative communication, social language skills, articulation, voice, oral-motor function, feeding, and delays in receptive and expressive language development Conduct diagnostic evaluations and assessments to determine students' speech and language needs Prepare clear, comprehensive reports based on evaluation findings and classroom observations Work confidently with students aged 2 to 22 who have moderate to severe disabilities Develop, implement, and maintain Individualized Education Program (IEP) objectives Collaborate effectively with parents, educators, and multidisciplinary teams to monitor student progress and modify interventions as needed Qualifications: Valid Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR) license and Professional Educator License (PEL) or eligibility to obtain both Bilingual fluency in Spanish is required Minimum of 1-2 years of experience working as an SLP preferred Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to teamwork Flexibility and problem-solving skills to adapt therapy approaches to individual student needs Benefits: Competitive compensation based on experience Weekly pay Medical, dental, and vision insurance options Opportunity to collaborate with a dedicated professional team in a supportive, nurturing school setting Take advantage of this rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students' lives by applying today.
