A 1.0 FTE School Psychologist position is available for the 2026-2027 academic year, offering a unique opportunity to serve students from early childhood through 8th grade with cross-categorical caseloads. These roles are part of a cooperative that serves multiple districts, requiring flexibility in travel to locations that may be outside the immediate area. The positions are based in Shorewood, IL, and Joliet, IL, respectively, with each offering a 35-hour workweek. Key Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments for students across multiple disability categories Develop and implement intervention strategies and individualized education plans (IEPs) Collaborate with educators, parents, and district personnel to support student learning and well-being Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute professional insight regarding student needs Provide counseling and consultation services to students and school staff Qualifications: Valid School Psychologist certification/license in Illinois Experience working with a diverse student population from early childhood through middle school Strong knowledge of cross-categorical disabilities and effective intervention methods Ability to manage a caseload and work effectively across multiple school districts Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills Locations & Hours: Shorewood, IL (Troy School District), 35 hours per week Joliet, IL (SOWIC Multiple Districts), 35 hours per week This contract position offers a collaborative and supportive environment designed to positively impact student outcomes across several school districts.
