Pharmacist in Charge - Cherry Hill, NJ

A contract opportunity is available for a bilingual (Spanish/English) Pharmacist in Charge to oversee daily pharmacy operations. This role requires strong leadership skills to ensure regulatory compliance, staff supervision, and the smooth running of pharmacy activities. Location: Cherry Hill, NJ Schedule: Monday to Friday: 9 AM to 6 PM Saturday: 9 AM to 1 PM Key Responsibilities: Ensure the pharmacy adheres to all state and federal regulatory requirements, including investigating any improper activities. Manage, train, and supervise all pharmacy staff, including pharmacists and technicians. Develop and enforce operational policies and procedures related to medication dispensing, safety, and security. Maintain accurate inventory records and proper storage of medications, with a focus on controlled substances. Implement performance improvement programs, conduct patient counseling, and manage quality assurance initiatives. Qualifications: Active and clear New Jersey pharmacist license. Minimum of 2 years management experience within a pharmacy setting. At least 3 years of recent community pharmacy experience preferred. Proficient with Pioneer RX computer system. Must be bilingual in Spanish and English. Additional Details: Average prescription volume of 20-25 scripts per day. Support available from skilled pharmacy technicians.
