The work we do every day saves lives and builds hope for the future through our outpatient addiction treatment services, including IOP and PHP, and recovery support.Our work is mission-driven, supported by a strong culture of teamwork and a compassionate environment that is the foundation of the Valley Hope organization.EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:Master's degree in behavioral sciences, or social work preferredLicense or credential to function as a counselor, social worker, therapist, or psychotherapist in the state in which the Counselor is working; with preference being licensed addiction counselors.Candidates with the following credentials can be considered: LAC,LCAC, LMAC, LMFT, LCMFT, LMLP, LCP, LPC, LCPC, LMSW or LSCSWOne (1) year of behavioral healthcare clinical counseling or clinical case management work experience is required; Three (3) years preferredCPR/First Aid CertificationCOMPENSTATION (based on experience and education): Master's Level Starting Salary: $75,000 - $85,000$15,000 Sign-On Bonus (paid out quarterly over a two year period)BENEFITS:Medical coverage - Valley Hope pays up to 85% of premiumsDental & vision plans at competitive ratesUp to 27 days of PTO (based on position and tenure)8 paid holidays (including a personal day)Paid parental leave401(k) with employer matchTuition assistance to grow your careerStudent loan repayment supportPublic Student Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) eligible employerHSA & FSA options to manage healthcare costsEmployee Assistance Program (EAP) for added supportAnd more perks designed with you in mind!JOB SUMMARY:Provides individual and group counseling, therapeutic intervention, and educational lectures to patients and family members.Develops, revises, and implements treatment plans.Performs face to face assessments.Participates on a multi-disciplinary treatment team to include participating in weekly staff meetings, any staff development, and training as required.Develops patient progress reports and establishes follow-up care for patients and their families as needed.Provide clinical consultation to referral resources, mentors, family members, and others to help support patients in their recovery.Maintains and demonstrates a current working knowledge of applicable counseling procedures and substance abuse treatment in accordance with company policy and State and Federal guidelines.Collects and reviews referral information upon assignment of patients and consults with others as needed to support coordination of services.WORK ENVIRONMENT:Outpatient treatment facility setting; requires walking throughout the facility#VHA1#VHA3 Equal Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
