What Awaits You?Career growth and developmentTuition Assistance Diverse and collaborative working environmentAffordable and comprehensive benefits packageFull Time/ Day Shift/8:00am-4:30pmJohns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center,4940 Eastern Ave., Baltimore, MDPosition Summary:Performs phlebotomy (pediatric and adult), EKGs, performs Sweat Chloride Testing (as applicable), processes specimens, specimen collections, and records/reports results; maintains established levels of supplies and inventory.Responsible for initiating or verifying that proper actions are taken to resolve problems.Maintains high level of competency for all skills and knowledge required.Participates in precepting new employees.Minimum Qualifications:Education:High school diploma or equivalent including high school level course work in biology, chemistry and mathematics.AA, Biology preferredWork Experience:Requires a minimum of at least 100 blood draws as normally acquired through completion of an approved phlebotomy program. Must be deemed competent and safe by the Clinical Safety and Training Coordinatorin all relevant Express Testing procedures***Authorization to Work in the United States: Applicants who require sponsorship now or in the future will not be considered for this position.Salary Range: Minimum 18.09/hour - Maximum 29.87/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
