IV Certified Pharmacy Technician in Fort Myers, FL

An opportunity is available for an IV/Infusion Pharmacy Technician to support sterile compounding operations in a fast-paced environment. This 13-week contract role in Fort Myers, FL offers the possibility of transitioning to a permanent position based on performance. Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM Key Responsibilities: Prepare and compound IV medications in a cleanroom setting under the direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist Fill prescriptions and assist in the final checking process to ensure accuracy and compliance with standards and regulations Collaborate with the Billing Supervisor to enter data into computer systems for prescription fulfillment and reimbursement Prepackage medications for dispensing and coordinate timely delivery to customers Support inventory management including receipt, rotation, and documentation of medications and supplies Maintain a clean and safe work environment; perform equipment checks for calibration, safety, and cleanliness Assist Pharmacy Management and Technician Supervisor with operational tasks to ensure quality and efficiency Qualifications: Current Florida Pharmacy Technician license is required IV certification and prior IV/Infusion pharmacy technician experience highly preferred National Pharmacy Technician certification is preferred but not mandatory Ability to work accurately in a sterile environment and adhere to government regulations and standards This role requires immediate availability due to client contracts involving multiple vendors and a slow update process.
