A Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) position is available for a travel assignment in Biddeford, ME, offering the opportunity to work across multiple critical care areas including ICU, ER, nursery, and med-surg floors. This role requires expertise in treating a broad patient population-from neonates to adults-with a focus on respiratory support and emergency interventions. Responsibilities: Provide respiratory therapy services in adult ICU and ER settings, including pediatric intubation and mechanical ventilation. Participate in high-risk C-section deliveries and serve as a key member of the resuscitation team in the Level 1 nursery. Float to various hospital departments as needed, adapting to the diverse needs of critically ill patients. Utilize ventilators and equipment such as Drager V500, Hamilton T-1, neo puff, and Airvo high-flow oxygen. Document patient care accurately using the EPIC electronic medical record system. Collaborate effectively with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Qualifications: Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification. Minimum of two years of experience in ICU, ER, nursery, and med-surg settings. Proficient in the use of Drager V500, Hamilton T-1 ventilators, neo puff, and EPIC system. Current certifications in NRP, BLS, ACLS, and PALS. Strong assessment skills and ability to manage critically ill newborns, pediatric, and adult patients. Team-oriented with excellent communication and a positive, respectful attitude. Schedule & Details: Night shifts with 36 guaranteed weekly hours including weekends. No on-call requirements.
