Position Summary: As a Pharmacy Data Analyst specializing in finance, you will play a crucial role in extracting, analyzing, and interpreting operational, financial, sales and contractual data from various sources to support strategic decision-making and operational initiatives. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Senior Management, Mail and Specialty Pharmacy, Sales and Finance to provide actionable insights and recommendations. You will also understand their data needs, request, design and develop reports and dashboards, and conduct thorough data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement. Essential Duties/Responsibilities: Extract, clean, and manipulate large datasets from multiple sources including financial databases, ERP systems, and spreadsheets.Perform comprehensive analysis of data to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for improvement.Design and develop reports, dashboards, and data visualizations to present findings in a clear and concise manner.Prepare regular and ad-hoc reports and dashboards to communicate findings to stakeholders.Collaborate with stakeholder teams to understand business requirements and translate them into data-driven solutions.Conduct variance analysis and performance reporting to support budgeting, contracting and forecasting processes.Assist in the design and implementation of data collection systems and strategies to optimize efficiency and data quality.Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in data analysis and financial modeling.Collaborate with Technology team on data access requests and requirement creation.Other duties as assignedRequired Skills/Abilities:Proven experience as a Data Analyst with a focus on financial data analysis.Strong proficiency in SQL, Excel, and statistical software preferred.Proficient in visual analytics tools (Tableau, Microsoft Power BI, other).Experience working with financial databases and ERP systems (e.g., Dynamics 365).Solid understanding of financial principles and concepts (e.g., GAAP, financial statements).Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.Ability to effectively communicate complex findings and insights to non-technical stakeholders.Ability to maintain confidentiality of information and data in accordance with policies.Ability to exercise considerable judgment, maintain confidentiality, and act in a diplomatic manner.Ability to independently identify, research and resolve issues.Ability to relate to people at all levels of an organization and possesses excellent communication skills.A decisive individual who possesses a strategic focus as well as an operational, implementation, and detail-oriented perspective.Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.A well-organized and self-directed individual who can work with a minimal amount of supervision.Demonstrated ability to improve data processes and/or business flows for efficiency and reliability.Demonstrated ability to perform regression testing to ensure new reports and data sources are accurate, complete, and support stakeholder objectives.Education/Experience:Bachelor's degree in Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related field.Demonstrated data analysis and reporting experience.Minimum of 7 years of experience in a similar role, with a focus on data analysis and reporting.Preferred Skill/Abilities: Prior experience in Retail, Mail Order of Specialty Pharmacy, PBM, pharmaceutical or managed health care industry preferred.Knowledge of and working with ScriptMed and EPost preferredWork Environment/Physical Requirements: Home-based office environment, with minimal exposure to excessive noise or adverse environmental issues, and limited (if required) local and/or overnight travel, including exposure to heat, cold, and inclement weather conditions. Transportation for travel typically will include automobile and plane.Ability to sit for prolonged periods of time.
