Seeking an experienced Cath Lab Technologist with strong imaging skills for a travel assignment in Atwater, CA. This role offers the opportunity to work in a growing cardiac catheterization lab, currently operating one lab with expansion plans to two. The workload varies, with 0 to 5-6 cases daily, providing a dynamic and engaging work environment. The ideal candidate will have proficiency in ACLS, ARRT, BLS certifications, and Fluoroscopy techniques. Familiarity with Cerner, Sensis, and Merge systems is essential. Experience in a Cath Lab setting, including PCIs, peripheral vascular procedures, diagnostic caths, nephrostomy tubes, and IVC filters, is required. Knowledge of balloon pumps and experience with STEMI cases are valuable assets; however, all STEMI patients are currently redirected to a nearby facility. The candidate should be comfortable scrubbing in while assisting with cases and contributing to the training of new nurses. Responsibilities: Perform and assist with a variety of cardiac catheterization procedures. Support circulation and patient monitoring, especially with RN circulators. Help train and mentor new nursing staff in Cath Lab protocols. Maintain patient safety and compliance with all protocols and certifications. Qualifications: Certifications: ACLS, ARRT, BLS. Proven experience in Cath Lab imaging and procedures. Ability to scrub and assist during procedures. Experience with Cerner, Sensis, and Merge systems. Knowledge of balloon pump operation and STEMI management is a plus. Schedule: 8-hour day shifts; schedule may vary based on experience.
