Sign-on bonuses are also available for part-time positions and will be prorated based on commitment. Who We're Looking For: We welcome Respiratory Therapists at all career stages, including: * Certified Respiratory Therapists (CRT) * Registered Respiratory Therapists (RRT) * Senior Registered Respiratory Therapists (RRT) Final title and compensation are determined based on your education, experience, and certifications. Qualifications: What You Need to Get Started: Education & Experience: * Graduate of a CoARC-accredited Respiratory Therapy program required * As part of our career ladder, levels require different experience levels - but you can start with no experience! * Senior level requires willingness to complete a project to benefit the profession, hospital, and/or unit Licensure & Certifications: * Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) required. * RRTs certified after July 1, 2002 must maintain NBRC certification per NBRC guidelines. o CRTs can take advantage of dedicated support, including tuition assistance, exam reimbursement, and paid study time as they work to become RRTs. * Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license required in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania * Basic Life Support (BLS) or Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Clearances (as applicable): * Act 33 Clearance (with renewal) * Act 34 Clearance (with renewal) * Act 73 FBI Clearance (with renewal) UPMC is an Equal Opportunity Employer/Disability/Veteran
