DescriptionLocation: Tippecanoe School Corporation Days: 195 days + up to 10 additional days at the discretion of the supervisorThe School Psychologist will be responsible for conducting psychoeducational evaluations on students referred in compliance with federal and state laws. The School Psychologist will be actively involved with school personnel in addressing the needs of all students.This position includes a hybrid work option that allows for a combination of on-site and remote work. On-site work is required for direct student evaluations, observations, team meetings, and consultations. Remote work will be permitted for tasks such as report writing, documentation, data analysis, and virtual meetings, as appropriate and approved by the Director of Special Education.RequirementsKey ResponsibilitiesProvide psychological services for students with disabilities and referred students, including testing, diagnosis, and consultation.Conduct appropriate psychological evaluations of referred students and submit required written reports in compliance with Article 7 timelines.Interpret assessment results and integrate them with other information regarding behavior and learning conditions.Consult and collaborate with school personnel and parents in planning and developing individualized education programs (IEPs) and school-based interventions.Participate in multidisciplinary teams and case conferences.Communicate effectively with parents, school, and agency representatives, using language that facilitates understanding of psychological data and recommendations.Participate in planning and delivering professional development and in-service training for teachers, administrators, and other school personnel.Attend scheduled staff, committee, interagency, and professional meetings.Collaborate with health, mental health, and juvenile justice agencies as needed.Serve on School-Based and District RTI/MTSS Teams.Enter school-based Medicaid-related services into the Medicaid billing program.Perform designated work remotely when appropriate (e.g., report writing, data analysis, documentation, virtual meetings) in accordance with established hybrid work guidelines.
