Nuclear Medicine Physician | No Weekends | HybridThe Section of Molecular Imaging and Therapy in the Department of Diagnostic Radiology at Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU) is seeking a full-time Nuclear Medicine physician or Nuclear Radiologist. The section has state-of-the-art imaging equipment, a robust theranostics program, and sees both adult and pediatric patients with a mixture of complexity from within OHSU, the Doernbecher Children’s Hospital, as well as more widely throughout Oregon and adjacent states. Discover your future at OHSU Diagnostic Radiology - click below for a brief overview of the department.Oversee daily clinical operations of the sectionManage a broad imaging caseload generated by:Five SPECT/CT scannersTwo digital PET/CT scannersOne PET/MRI scannerSupport and contribute to our theranostics program, including:Neuroendocrine tumor therapiesProstate cancer therapiesRadioiodine therapies Several research therapiesCollaborate closely with medical physics and participate in a robust dosimetry programParticipate in multidisciplinary tumor boardsTeach at all levels: medical students, residents, and fellowsEngage in departmental educational activities, including:Radiology Residency programNuclear Medicine Residency/Fellowship programAn interest and involvement in research is preferred but not required, given the current trajectory of the field in general and at OHSU. This may involve a variety of research types including:Investigator-initiated studiesIndustry-sponsored clinical trialsRetrospective projects for both radionuclide imaging and therapyThe Center for Radiochemistry Research (CRR) is a state-of-the-art cyclotron facility that offers opportunities for collaboration in developing radionuclides for basic science, small and large animal studies, and human clinical trials.
