Description: This position involves working in an Emergency Medicine setting. You will treat a wide range of patient cases and conditions. Responsibilities include performing laceration repairs, intubation, and central line insertions. You will also manage chest tubes and utilize ultrasound for procedures and assessments. An average of 15-20 patient encounters is expected per shift. The shift schedule includes a variety of morning, afternoon, and night shifts. Support services, including anesthesia and general surgery, are available 24 hours. There is also a fast track lane for patients presenting with less critical conditions. This facility manages approximately 58,000 visits per fiscal year. Newborn deliveries are not handled in the Emergency Department. There is an established labor and delivery department on site.
