Full Day Preschool Teacher This is a temporary position lasting until the end of the school year May 21st, 2026. Responsibilities: Create a safe, welcoming environment that is conducive to student learning Plan and implement high-quality lessons based on the Foundations and Creative Curriculum Manage the classroom using positive, student-centered techniques Utilize assessments to monitor student learning Communicate effectively with parents and stakeholders Provide guidance to instructional assistants in the classroom Requirements: 2-Year Associates Degree in Early Childhood or 4-Year Degree in Early Childhood or Elementary Education Knowledge of the developmental needs of 3-5 year old children and an enthusiasm for working in early childhood education Physical stamina required to be actively interacting with students throughout the day Experience working in a preschool environment preferred Current CPR and First Aid certification preferred Hours & Days It is the policy of the MSD Decatur Township not to discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, or disability in its programs or employment policies as required by the Indiana Civil Rights Act (I.C. 22-9.1), Title VI and VII (Civil Rights Act of 1964), the Equal Pay Act of 1973, Title IX (Educational Amendments), and Section 504 (Rehabilitation Act of 1973).
