**Penn State Health** - **Hershey Medical Center** **Location:** US:PA: Hershey **Work Type:** PRN **FTE:** 0.001 **Shift:** Day **Hours:** 7:45a - 4:15p **Recruiter Contact:** Melissa Leota at (MAILTO://) **SUMMARY OF POSITION:** Responsible for the operation of diagnostic medical equipment to perform a variety of technical sonographic procedures for prenatal diagnoses and testing. **MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:** Graduate of an accredited Program for Diagnostic Medical Sonography required. RDMS (OB/Gyn) certification required. Must meet Continuing Medical Education requirements in accordance with ARDMS guidelines. CPR certification required. Nuchal Translucency certification and Nasal Bone certification must be completed within 1 year from hire date. **KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES:** Knowledge of M-mode, Pulse, and color Doppler waveforms required. Knowledge of 3D/4D imaging required. Thorough understanding of maternal-fetal pathology required. Knowledge of sterile technique used during invasive procedures required. Strong analysis skills, communication skills and interpersonal skills required. **PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:** 2 years of General or 1 year Maternal Fetal scanning experience preferred **PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS*:** Able to stand constantly; walk & sit occasionally. Able to lift/carry 0-10 frequently; 11-50 lbs occasionally. Able to push/pull 0-20 lbs frequently; 21-75 lbs occasionally. Able to reach constantly.
