Hours are flexible between Monday and Saturday. Duties will include: Advising patients on frame weights, materials, styles, and colorsRecommending lenses, coatings, and frames to suit customers' needsMeasuring customers to determine suitable types and styles of framesAdjusting and repairing eyeglass frames to fit properlyPreparing orders for glasses and contact lenses by checking prescriptions, lens thickness, and other specificationsMaking sure that orders for glasses and contact lenses are processed accuratelyAssisting office as needed with scheduling appointments, answering phones, and other clerical duties. Characteristics required for the job: Ability to learn from experiences to plan with a great deal of autonomySelf-directed approach with motivation and self-initiationAbility to keep calm under pressure and remain emotionally stable and consistentOrganization SkillsComfort with computer systems and electronic health recordsMultitasking SkillsEnthusiastic Attitude Experience: We are willing to train the right individual. Applicants with previous sales and/or medical office experience are encouraged to apply. Wages will depend on experience.
