American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab / EP Technologist with interventional Cath Lab experience to join a busy 4-room cardiac cath lab at a Level II Trauma Center in Montgomery, AL.Job Details• 4-room cardiac cath lab setting at a 492-bed Level II Trauma Center and Primary Stroke Center,• Required case experience includes STEMI/NSTEMI, LHC/RHC, CHF, Angina, ACS, AFib, IABP/Impella, CTOs, staged/protected PCI, pericardiocentesis, and temporary pacers,• EP procedures include pacemaker implants, MICRA, lead extractions/revisions, generator changes, and ablations (experience not required),• Vascular procedures include peripheral and carotid cases (experience not required),• PE procedures include Inari and EKOS (experience not required),• Hybrid/structural procedures include Watchman, TAVR, and PFOs (experience not required),• Daily caseload of approximately 20-25 patients,• EMR: Cerner; Hemodynamic Monitoring: XPER (Philips); PACS: IntellaSpace; Medication Dispensing: Omnicell,• 12-hour day shifts, 6:30 AM-7:00 PM, 36 hours per week,• Weekend call rotation: on call every 4th weekend, Friday end-of-shift through Monday at 6:30 AM,• Weekday call: approximately 1 call night per week (end-of-shift until 6:30 AM the following morning) and possibly 1 late shift per week; late shift and call shift are never worked concurrently,• 30-minute call response time required; call rooms are available,• No floating required,• Schedule cycle of 3-6 weeks; RTO requires manager approval,• One major and one minor seasonal holiday coverage expected per facility policy,Job Requirements• Minimum 1 year of interventional Cath Lab experience required (diagnostic-only experience is not sufficient),• Required skills: laser lead extraction, Rotablator, FFR, IVUS, Impella, IABP, EKOS, pacemaker, scrub and pan table, Medrad, and groin site management and monitoring,• Current BLS and ACLS required,• ARRT required; RCIS preferred but not required,• AL license required if applicable,• One reference from a charge-level or above from the past 12 months required for consideration,• DOB (day and month) required for consideration,Additional Information• First-time travelers are welcome to apply,• Former permanent staff must wait 6 months before being considered as a traveler,• Candidates must live more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible,• Orientation includes 24 hours of classroom time for new or returning travelers (absent 1+ year), plus 1-3 on-unit orientation shifts depending on traveler comfort level,• Rehire orientation is determined based on the traveler's last date at the facility,• Support team includes a Cath Lab Coordinator/Supervisor, RT 24/7, Hospitalist 24/7, on-call Cardiologist, and RRT/Code Team,• An equipment lead is available for use if the traveler does not have their own,• Green hospital scrubs are provided,• Parking deck available on site,• A SimpliFi interview is required; this facility does not use auto-offers
