Job Requirements:Associate's Degree Associate's Degree in Allied Health (Required)ARRT - Radiographer ARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Upon Hire RequiredUnrestricted license from ODH Upon Hire RequiredBasic Life Support (BLS) BLS Certification RequiredOn-Call requirements with 30 minute response time per department needs and schedule.Successful completion of basic EKG Arrhythmia course Upon Hire PreferredRadiation Safety KnowledgeAttention to detailStrong teamwork and professionalismKnowledge of cardiovascular anatomy, sterile technique, radiologic imaging and equipmentBenefits & Perks:This position is classified as PRN and is not eligible for TriHealth benefits.On-call incentive (up to $11 more per hour).Job Overview:Under the direction of a Radiologist or Cardiologist and the Manager of Cardiac Cath/Special Procedures, this role is responsible for operating state-of-the-art radiographic equipment and ensuring high-quality imaging for patient care. The Special Procedures Technologist plays a key role in patient outcomes within the Cardiac Cath/Special Procedures department and is accountable for maintaining radiation safety practices within procedure rooms.Job Responsibilities:Demonstrate proficiency, competency, and knowledge in diagnostic and therapeutic procedures using advanced imaging equipmentConduct ongoing evaluation, documentation, and care for patients and their familiesParticipate in Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) activities within the unitMaintain accurate and complete records, ensuring compliance with documentation standardsUphold organizational responsibility, adhering to protocols and best practices to support patient safety and careThis role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic healthcare setting while utilizing cutting-edge imaging technology to support patient treatment and outcomes.
