Oversees and monitors plumbing installations to ensure compliance with the City's cross connection ordinances and for quality of workmanship. Requirements: * Graduation from an accredited high school or G.E.D. equivalent. o ORIGINAL diploma or official transcripts REQUIRED at time of application. * Five (5) years of experience in the installation of plumbing systems. * Possession of a master plumber's license, as issued by the State of Michigan; or, possession of a Journeyman's license as issued by the State of Michigan and ten (10) years of experience in plumbing work. * Possess a State of Michigan approved cross connection control certification. * Possess a valid license to operate a motor vehicle in the State of Michigan. Driving record must meet city's standards for insurability. Pay rate: $83,039/year (Flat rate) Excellent benefit package includes health, dental and life insurance, paid vacation and sick time.
