Overview Monterey Park Hospital, a 101-acute care facility located in the San Gabriel Valley of Los Angeles County, is seeking a Respiratory Therapist for our Respiratory Therapy Department. This is a full-time, 12-hour variable shift position reporting to the Supervisor of Respiratory Therapy. Responsibilities The Respiratory Therapist provides Respiratory procedures without direct observation. Evaluates patient's response to respiratory treatments. Performs assessment on patients according to current departmental policy. Monitors performance of respiratory related equipment. Performs specific diagnostic tests relevant to Respiratory/Cardiopulmonary Care and Ventilator Management. Qualifications Current CA RCP License. Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS from the American Heart Association required. Current NRP certification required. Hospital Description Monterey Park Hospital is a 101 bed acute care community hospital.
