Travel Respiratory Therapist - Registered RT/RRT

American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with 2+ years of experience for a night shift travel assignment at an acute care hospital in Springdale, AR.Job Details• Inpatient respiratory therapy department at an acute care hospital in Springdale, AR,• Serves both inpatient and outpatient populations requiring cardiopulmonary services,• Responsibilities include ventilator management, airway maintenance, delivery of medicated aerosols via medical compressed gas, pulmonary function studies, cardiac and pulmonary stress tests, and blood gas analysis,• Night shift: 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM,• 13-week contract,Job Requirements• Minimum 2 years of recent respiratory therapy experience,• Current RRT or CRT credential through the NBRC,• Active Arkansas (AR) state license required; license required if applicable,• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS,• All certifications must remain active for at least 30 days beyond the assignment start date,• Valid driver's license required for consideration,• No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months,Additional Information• Assist physicians with invasive and non-invasive procedures, including intubations and arterial line insertion,• Follow protocols approved by the medical staff and department policies to deliver timely diagnostic and therapeutic services,• Candidates must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible; local travelers are not accepted,• Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any CHS facility within the past 2 years will not be considered,• RTO requests must be less than one week in duration,
