Vivo HealthStaff is recruiting for a Clinic LVN in Fremont for a wonderful established healthcare organization. This is a full-time position with salary and benefits.Job Overview:As part of our dynamic team, the Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) operates under the guidance of the Program/Clinic Manager, the clinical direction of a Clinic Registered Nurse (RN), and the oversight of the Associate Nurse Manager. This role is crucial in delivering direct nursing care to our valued patients, ensuring their health and well-being.Key Responsibilities:- Efficiently process, relay, and execute all medication orders in accordance with clinic guidelines.- Administer and manage medication distribution as directed by medical staff.- Provide exemplary nursing care and treatments to patients within the Day Health Clinic.- Keep clinic supplies well-stocked and organized.- Contribute significantly to the interdisciplinary team by sharing nursing insights during planning, problem-solving, and procedural activities.- Educate, guide, and support patients, geriatric aides, and family members on nursing care requirements and related issues.- Perform additional tasks as needed to support patient care.Requirements:- Completion of an accredited LVN program.- Active LVN licensure in California.- Proven interest and capability in working with the elderly or frail populations, with at least one year of experience.- Self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.- Bilingual skills may be necessary for certain positions.Benefits for Eligible Employees (20+ hours/week):- Comprehensive Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance.- Retirement Savings Plan (403b) and Term Life/AD&D Insurance.- Flexible Spending Account, Commuter Benefits, scholarships, and an Employee Assistance Program (EAP).- Pet Insurance and various discounts.- Generous holiday schedule, vacation time, sick leave, and long-term disability insurance.
