Deaconess Kentucky Specialty Clinic is seeking a highly motivated Outpatient Psychiatrist to help grow outpatient behavioral health services in Hopkinsville, KY. This role offers strong clinical and administrative support in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment. Compensation & Benefits: * Year 1 guaranteed base salary: $350,000 * Sign-on bonus: $75,000 * Additional earning potential: Psychiatrists typically earn $400,000-$500,000+ based on productivity * Comprehensive benefits package * Relocation assistance * CME allowance Practice Setting: This outpatient role focuses on psychiatric evaluation, medication management, and ongoing treatment in a team-based setting that includes: * Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners (PMHNPs) * Licensed therapists providing individual outpatient services Key Responsibilities: * Perform psychiatric assessments and diagnose mental health conditions * Develop and manage individualized treatment plans * Provide medication management and follow-up care * Collaborate with PMHNPs, therapists, and nursing staff * Supervise PMHNPs as needed * Provide co-signatures for therapists * Maintain accurate EMR documentation * Participate in case conferences and quality initiatives * Follow ethical, legal, and regulatory standards Call Responsibilities: Jennie Stuart Medical Center operates a 12-bed adult inpatient behavioral health unit. * Weeknight call: approx. once every 2 weeks (5:00 p.m. - 8:00 a.m.) * Weekend call: approx. 1 in 6 weekends * Duties include intake triage, admission orders, and inpatient rounding on weekends Qualifications: * Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry (MD or DO) * Eligible for Kentucky medical licensure * Outpatient psychiatry experience preferred * Strong communication and teamwork skills Why Join Deaconess: Join a growing behavioral health program with strong leadership support and a collaborative care model.
