Summary: Provides basic patient care under the direction of nursing staff and ensures patient safety and well-being. Responsibilities: * Meets expectations of the applicable OneCHRISTUS Competencies: Leader of Self, Leader of Others, or Leader of Leaders. * Answering patient calls and helping patients with eating, bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility. * Feeding patients, measuring, and recording their food and liquid intake. * Monitoring and documenting patients' temperature, blood pressure, and other vital signs and reporting changes to nurses or doctors. * Assisting nurses or doctors with medical procedures and dressing wounds. Job Requirements: Education/Skills * High School Diploma or equivalent preferred. Experience * 1 year of experience required. * 3 - 5 years of experience preferred. Licenses, Registrations, or Certifications * BLS required. * National PCT Certification (includes Phlebotomy and EKG) preferred. Work Schedule: 5 Days - 8 Hours Work Type: Part Time
