Your work will have a direct impact on employee well-being, regulatory compliance, and our journey toward zero injuries and strong environmental performance.The Role & Your ImpactAs an EHS Specialist, you will play a key role in developing, implementing, and maintaining occupational health, safety, and environmental programs across our New Berlin facility. You will partner closely with the site stakeholders to drive compliance, continuous improvement, and a proactive safety culture.Key responsibilities include:Support the development and implementation of EHS policies and procedures in compliance with OSHA and other regulatory requirementsDevelop and deliver required safety and environmental trainingLead incident investigations and manage incidents and safety observations in the EHSQ systemSupport and maintain management systems such as ISO 45001 and ISO 14001Conduct risk assessments, job hazard analyses, PPE assessments, and industrial hygiene surveysDevelop and maintain Lock Out/Tag Out procedures in partnership with Maintenance and EngineeringPerform safety and environmental compliance audits and ensure corrective actions are completedSupport recycling, sustainability, emergency response, ergonomics, and fire prevention programsCollaborate cross-functionally and contribute to regional and global EHS initiatives, including limited travel (What You'll Need to Be SuccessfulMust-haves:Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety & Health or a related field (or equivalent experience)3-5 years of experience in industrial or manufacturing safetyWorking knowledge of OSHA CFR 1910 and CFR 1926 regulationsExperience conducting incident investigations, audits, and risk assessmentsAbility to manage confidential information appropriately, including HIPAA-related mattersStrong analytical, organizational, and time-management skillsProficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and OutlookStrong written, verbal, and presentation skillsAbility to work independently in a fast-paced environment and collaborate effectively at all organizational levelsAdditional Skills & Interests We ValueNice-to-haves:Professional certifications such as CSP, CIH, ARM, ALCH, or similarOSHA 10, 30, or 501 training certificationsExperience in food-grade or regulated manufacturing environmentsKnowledge of ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 50001, or OHSAS 18001 standardsExperience supporting capital projects or leading safety-focused improvement initiativesInterest in sustainability and employee engagement initiativesWhat We OfferA meaningful role focused on employee safety, sustainability, and continuous improvementOpportunities to grow your expertise and influence safety culture across the organizationCollaboration with passionate colleagues across functions and regionsA values-driven workplace where safety and care for people come firstWays of Working / Working ConditionsThis role is office-based with regular presence in production environments.
