Job Summary Job Summary School Psychologist (2026-2027 School Year) The School Psychologist provides a full range of psychological services to support students' academic, behavioral, and social-emotional development. This includes assessment, consultation, and collaboration with staff, families, and community partners. This role is a critical member of the IEP team and plays a key role in ensuring legally compliant, high-quality services while helping build systems and practices as RCP transitions to an independent LEA. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Assessment and Evaluation Conduct psychoeducational assessments for initial, triennial, and other evaluations within required timelines Assess in all areas of suspected disability Interpret data and develop clear, legally defensible reports with educational recommendations Participate in eligibility determinations and reevaluations IEP Development and Compliance Serve as an active member of the IEP team, contributing evaluation findings and recommendations Support development of measurable, student-centered IEP goals Ensure compliance with IDEA, California Education Code, and SELPA requirements Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant documentation Consultation and Collaboration Consult with teachers on instructional strategies, accommodations, and behavioral supports Partner with families to support understanding of student needs and the IEP process Collaborate with administrators, service providers, and outside agencies as appropriate MTSS / Systems Support Support Student Study Team (SST) and MTSS processes Assist in developing and monitoring Tier 2 and Tier 3 interventions Contribute to building effective Child Find systems and referral processes Use data to inform decision-making and program development Behavior and Social-Emotional Support Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) Support development and monitoring of Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) Provide consultation on behavior and social-em Requirements / QualificationsCopy of TranscriptLetter of IntroductionLetter(s) of RecommendationResumePupil Personnel Services Credential - School PsychologyRequirements / QualificationsCopy of TranscriptLetter of IntroductionLetter(s) of RecommendationResumePupil Personnel Services Credential - School Psychology
