Deaconess Kentucky Specialty Clinic is seeking a highly motivated Outpatient Psychiatrist to help grow outpatient behavioral health services in Hopkinsville, KY. This role offers strong clinical and administrative support in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment.Compensation & Benefits:Year 1 guaranteed base salary: $350,000Sign-on bonus: $75,000Additional earning potential: Psychiatrists typically earn $400,000-$500,000+ based on productivityComprehensive benefits packageRelocation assistanceCME allowancePractice Setting:This outpatient role focuses on psychiatric evaluation, medication management, and ongoing treatment in a team-based setting that includes:Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners (PMHNPs)Licensed therapists providing individual outpatient servicesKey Responsibilities:Perform psychiatric assessments and diagnose mental health conditionsDevelop and manage individualized treatment plansProvide medication management and follow-up careCollaborate with PMHNPs, therapists, and nursing staffSupervise PMHNPs as neededProvide co-signatures for therapistsMaintain accurate EMR documentationParticipate in case conferences and quality initiativesFollow ethical, legal, and regulatory standardsCall Responsibilities:Jennie Stuart Medical Center operates a 12-bed adult inpatient behavioral health unit.Weeknight call: approx. once every 2 weeks (5:00 p.m. - 8:00 a.m.)Weekend call: approx. 1 in 6 weekendsDuties include intake triage, admission orders, and inpatient rounding on weekendsQualifications:Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry (MD or DO)Eligible for Kentucky medical licensureOutpatient psychiatry experience preferredStrong communication and teamwork skillsWhy Join Deaconess:Join a growing behavioral health program with strong leadership support and a collaborative care model.
