They offer a comprehensive inventory of industrial cutting tools, a broad product line of thousands of SKUs, and a commitment to quality and rapid customer response.Role SummarySalesfolks is seeking a Regional Technical Sales Manager to drive growth in the Mid East U.S. / Great Lakes Region. This role requires a technically skilled sales professional to collaborate with an established dealer network while developing new client relationships in a dedicated territory. You will provide high-touch, consultative sales, offer technical expertise, and deliver excellent customer service.This role offers uncapped earning potential with a monthly retainer and significant first-year OTE potential, plus additional commissions during ramp-up. Travel expenses are covered and a car allowance is provided.Key ResponsibilitiesAccount Management: Build and nurture relationships with the distributor network and end-users in the six-state territoryNew Business Development: Identify and pursue new opportunities to expand market presenceTechnical Support & Consulting: Serve as a trusted technical advisor and field sales engineer to optimize manufacturing operationsOn-Site Client Interaction: Visit manufacturers, distributors, and key accounts to strengthen partnership; typical clients include manufacturers of kitchen cabinets, furniture, windows, doors, store fixtures, millwork, and other sectors using aluminum, composites, and plasticsMarket Insights: Provide feedback on market trends, customer needs, and competitor activityRequirementsQualificationsTechnical Knowledge: Strong background in manufacturing, machining, CNC processes, or related fields; experience with cutting tools or tooling technology is preferredSales Experience: Proven success in technical sales or as a product specialist in manufacturing or tooling industriesRelationship-Building: Strong interpersonal skills and a consultative approach for long-term partnershipsSelf-Driven & Autonomous: Able to manage a travel-heavy schedule independentlyTerritory Expertise: Based in the Mid East U.S. / Great Lakes Territory (Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana, Michigan, Illinois, Missouri) with travel flexibility within the territoryBenefitsCompensation & BenefitsMonthly Retainer: Guaranteed monthly income based on experience (DOE)OTE Potential: Commission during ramp-up with additional commissions for meeting targets; uncapped earning potentialCar Allowance: ProvidedTravel Expenses: Fully coveredGrowth Opportunities: Clear path for advancement in a high-integrity company with strong market reputationContract Type: Independent Contractor (1099) with long-term career potential and flexibilityExpected Income: OTE in excess of $120,000 - $140,000 per yearWhy Join Our ClientBuild a lasting career, establish meaningful client relationships, and become a trusted partner in mission-critical manufacturing processes.
