Lead, Outbound Planner

Sandvik Mining & Rock, a global supplier of equipment and tools, service and technical solutions for the mining industry, currently has one opening for Lead, Outbound Planner on our first shift at 8:30 AM. This hybrid role requires three days in Romeoville, IL office and two days remote. Responsibilities Daily release of customer orders, including management of auto, mass, and manual release orders Daily review of suspended orders Execute cancellation of orders based on customer requests, superseded items, etc. Work with Inventory, Purchasing, or Warehouse teams to source items Resolve order issues such as incorrect addresses and shipping instructions Resolve allocation problems daily, specifically suspended orders or cycle count problems Daily review and resolution of outstanding orders that require source changes or linkage to PO or DRP Weekly review of "Hold till complete" orders where inventory has become available or a new PO or DRP is needed Review and resolve LPS tickets relating to expediting of orders and shipment discrepancies daily Review Unit Down Orders and expedite accordingly daily Daily resolution of sales orders that did not generate Purchase Orders in SAP Quarterly review and maintenance of Customer Masters Weekly communication to internal/external customers regarding progress on all open orders Responsible for smooth delivery process from order processing to full delivery Act as point of contact between the logistics organization and sales organizations Order processing management and expediting Backorder management and exception handling Ensure compliance with order"‘to"‘delivery process and policies Communicate status of all open orders to internal customers Experience & Qualifications 6-10 years of experience in Warehousing/Operations/Supply Chain Environment Educated to degree level or equivalent, ideally in Business, Business Administration, or Supply Chain discipline Benefits Sandvik offers a comprehensive total compensation package including health, dental, and disability insurance, and a 401(k) retirement savings plan.
