Iris's client, one of the world's largest multinational investment banking and financial services corporation is looking to hire an Full Stack Developer Our direct client is a world-leading financial services company, provides consumers, corporations, governments and institutions with a broad range of financial services and products. Title: Full Stack Developer Duration: 24+ Months Note: 4 Days/week hybrid. The Role: We are looking for a seasoned Senior Full Stack Engineer to lead the design and development of scalable, high-performance applications. You'll be a key player in our technical roadmap, bridging the gap between elegant frontend experiences and robust backend architecture. What You'll Do Architect & Develop: Design and maintain scalable backend services using Java and Spring Boot. Frontend Excellence: Build responsive, user-centric web interfaces using React and Node.js. Full Lifecycle Ownership: Lead projects from initial concept through deployment, ensuring code quality, security, and performance. Mentor & Collaborate: Work closely with cross-functional teams and mentor junior engineers through code reviews and technical guidance. Optimization: Troubleshoot complex system issues and optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability. What You Bring: Experience: 7+ years in professional software development. Backend Mastery: Expert-level knowledge of Java and the Spring Boot ecosystem (Data, Security, MVC). Frontend Prowess: Strong proficiency in React and Node.js for building modern, high-traffic web apps. Foundation: Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and database design (SQL/NoSQL). Nice to Have Cloud & DevOps: Experience with container orchestration via OpenShift or Kubernetes (K8s). Big Data: Exposure to HDFS, Spark, or other Big Data ecosystem components.
