Tutoring can take place at any time of day, so the work hours are flexible (though most of the tutoring will be in the afternoons, evenings, and on weekends).RequirementsA passion for teaching (and learning too)A minimum of 500 combined tutoring session hours tutoring one or all of the following: SAT, and ACTStrong scores from either the SAT or ACTAvailability and desire to tutor 4 to 12 hours per weekGreat teaching instincts and ability to explain concepts in a variety of waysGood interpersonal skills and ability to connect with studentsCompassionate/understanding attitudeExceptionally clear communication styleHow to ApplySubmit a resume and a brief description of your background, qualifications, etc. No formal cover letter is needed!
