This role is responsible for crafting and executing growth strategies, ensuring alignment with business goals, and maximizing sales opportunities through various channels of engagement. The ideal candidate is skilled at building strong relationships, communication, analyzing market dynamics, and driving results through collaboration and strategic planning.Account ManagementHow You Will HelpServe as the main liaison, between ASC Engineered Solutions and assigned fire distributors, ensuring clear and consistent communicationDevelop deep understanding of each distributor's business model, performance metrics, market position, and growth opportunitiesOwn Customer Data Files - Collaborate internally to complete requests in a timely manner for product information, images, pricing, etc.Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key stakeholders at distributor organizations - corporate and fieldCommunicate opportunities throughout ASC and with distribution partners, holding stakeholders accountable for delivering on the growth activity initiativesGrowth Strategy Development:Design and implement customized growth strategies tailored to each distributor's core customer, unique needs and market conditionsIdentify opportunities for product expansion, increased market penetration, and revenue growth within the distributor channelCollaborate with distributors to create joint business plans that outline objectives, key initiatives, implementation, field activation, and success metricsCoordinate trade shows and field activation activities to drive brand awareness and sales pull-through with your key customers.Performance Monitoring & Reporting:Analyze sales data, market trends, and distributor performance to identify areas of improvement and successProvide regular performance updates and actionable insights to both internal teams, rep agencies, and distributor partners to drive actionForecast sales and track progress against growth targetsReview and manage account programming to deliver profitable account revenueCollaboration & Support:Work closely with internal sales, rep agencies, customer service, marketing, and product teams to ensure distributor needs are met and aligned with company objectivesSupport distributors with training, marketing resources, and tools to drive their successResolve issues and address challenges proactively to maintain strong relationships and achieve mutual goalsResponsible for Supply Chain collaborative planning & forecasting processSupport Director of National Accounts - MRO in daily activities & operational executionMarket Analysis & Insights:Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to provide strategic guidance to distributorsShare market insights with internal teams to influence product development and overall strategyUnderstand market pricing and where ASC is positioned with each customer in regards to market and competition.What You Will BringBachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.Proven experience (8+ years) in distribution management, sales, and business development, preferably in the fire market.Demonstrated ability to develop and execute growth strategies that deliver measurable resultsStrong interpersonal and relationship-building skills with the ability to influence and negotiate effectivelyExceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, with proficiency in interpreting sales data and market trendsExcellent communication and presentation skillsExperience with CRM tools, Power BI, Microsoft suite of products, and sales forecasting systemsWillingness to travel as required to build and maintain relationships with distributors, estimated at 75%CompensationThe base salary range for this position is $145,000.00 - $166,000.00 USD annually*.The salary range for this position reflects a reasonable estimate of the range of compensation for this role.
