Auria is looking to hire a System Administrator - Junior. This is a remote role out of San Diego, CA.This role is great for a system administrator who is willing to travel and work their way up in our organization.WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT TO DO:Coordinate operational designs, develop support plans, coordinate implementations, and provide second level support for Local Area Network (LAN), Base Area Network (BAN), and Wide Area Network (WAN) solutions encompassing heterogeneous platforms.Develop system support requirements by reviewing and analyzing customer business processes and evaluating available Enterprise Services (ES) and supplier capabilities.Support project teams in implementing new or upgraded designs and coordinate project efforts with support groups.Create plans that support implementation of changes.Participate in system support design and performance evaluation reviews.Advise on distributed network computing issues.Monitor and maintain security and integrity standards and controls.Assist in the evaluation, testing and recommendation of hardware, software, and network configurations based on customer need.Coach others in the application of new operational support technologies.Analyze user requirements and statistics to identify trends and resolve performance issues.Coordinate and approve updates of the site administration documentation.Keep abreast of emerging operational support technologies and industry trends.Recommend appropriate price/performance improvement opportunities.WHAT THE TEAM REQUIRES:Minimum of one (1) year experienceMust be willing to travel up to 75%Education: High school Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED)Information Assurance Technician (IAT) Level I CertificationU.S. Citizenship is requiredWHAT THE TEAM PREFERS:Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) certificationOperating System (OS)/Application CertificationPAY TRANSPARENCY: The salary offered will be based on the selected candidate's qualifications - skills, education & experience - and the position level. $60,000 - $65,000APPLICATION DEADLINE: The deadline to apply to this role is April 15, 2026.THE AURIA TEAM:Auria is a provider of solutions and software in support of complex Space, National Security, and Cyber missions of federal, international, and commercial customers.
