Reporting to the Director of Operations, the intern will collaborate with departments across the university to analyze business processes, identify opportunities to improve efficiency, and help implement technology-enabled solutions.Projects may include process analysis, documentation, and exploring automation opportunities using tools such as Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI, SharePoint, Microsoft Lists, and Teams-based workflows.This role is ideal for college juniors, seniors, or graduate students interested in business operations, process improvement, data analysis, or workflow automation who want hands-on experience working on operational improvement projects within a university environment.The internship is **20 hours per week at $20.00 per hour** and runs **June 8 through August 14, 2026**. This is a **fully remote position**, and candidates must reside within the United States.**Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:*** Analyze existing business processes and recommend opportunities for improvement.* Develop and implement automated workflows using Microsoft Power Automate.* Collaborate with departments across the university to understand operational challenges and propose practical, technology-enabled solutions.* Assist in documenting and standardizing business processes.* Provide training and support to staff on new tools and automated workflows.* Monitor, report, and evaluate the impact of implemented solutions and recommend further enhancements.**Position Requirements:*** Currently enrolled as a junior, senior, or graduate student pursuing a degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.* Must be authorized to work in the U.S.* Must have access to a stable internet connection and a suitable remote working environment.**Position Qualifications:*** Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.* Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.* Ability to break down operational challenges and think through practical solutions.* Excellent communication and collaboration skills.* Strong attention to detail and ability to clearly document processes.* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams).* Experience with Microsoft Power Platform tools (Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI) or similar workflow automation tools.* Understanding of business process improvement principles.* Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technology tools.**Compensation & Benefits**This opportunity is budgeted at $$20.00 base compensation.
