This position is remote and the candidate can live anywhere in the U.S.; preferably near a major production center (and airport) for Encore. Salary may vary by market. Position Overview The Associate Producer oversees or contributes or to: live event treatments, video scripts, live presentations and production elements by segment or in their entirety. The position participates in budgeting process of line specific elements and tracks all support functions associated with production elements including show documentation, speaker support, graphic development, scenic builds and entertainment. The position produces live program event segments including deck management and backstage speaker support. The Associate Producer manages small to medium events, or portions of a large-scale event. Management of individual production elements and specific deliverables in support of the overall production is a critical function of the role. The Associate Producer reports to the Assoc Director, Event Production or Director, Event Production. Key Job Responsibilities Event Pre-Production Consult with Event Producer and/or Show Producer to prepare budget for the scope of work and review any scope changes throughout event pre-production. Participate with proposals and bids as needed. Collaborate with venue teams for any projects in managed properties, if applicable. Lead project management elements, team meetings, benchmarks, etc., that pertain to the scope of work. Engage Creative Department to develop graphics and print materials. Engage and provide details to Project Manager to oversee technical elements. Identify and mitigate risks to projects and solve issues before they affect production by collaborative effort with internal stakeholders. Partner with Project Manager on production schedule (provide information and recommendations where needed, etc.). Research, recommend and hire suppliers and freelance support where needed (ie. build stage team, hire greeters, registration supplier, etc.) while also reviewing and negotiating talent contracts and riders. Event Maintain quality control throughout the entire production, while keeping event on scope. Show calling may be required on small to medium sized events. Ensure production budgets are well executed and remain profitable. Deck management as needed. Post-Event Collaborate with Event Producer to review, approve and ensure any event POs and timesheets have been submitted. Work with finance on invoice approvals prior to client billing. Schedule and lead internal and client debriefs when applicable. Relationship Management Manage and build client relationships. Keep current with changing trends in event technology production and design. Job Qualifications Bachelor's degree in relevant field preferred. 2+ years of production or audio visual experience required. Onsite crew management experience preferred. Client relationship skills, strong written and oral communications skills, and detail oriented. Knowledge of hospitality industry and sales processes required in addition to the ability to read and decipher financial reports and records. Computer proficiency required including MS Office. Work Environment Hotel Work is performed in a hotel/convention center environment with moderate exposure to outdoor temperatures and to dirt, sand and/or dust. The working conditions will vary between moderately quiet to noisy volumes. Team members will use high-end audio visual equipment and electrical components, and will be exposed to heights via lifts and ladders. Team members may be asked to work in multiple hotel locations. Working times will include irregular hours and on-call status including days, evenings, weekends and holidays. Team members must adhere to appearance guidelines as defined by Encore based on an individual hotel or a representation of hotels in that city or area. LI-BD1 Salary Pay Range: $50,993.00 - $66,291.00 The compensation offered for this role is determined based on the qualifications outlined in the job posting for the specified location. Final compensation is based on a number of factors including location, travel, relevant work experience, or particular skills and expertise. In addition, some positions may be eligible for other compensation such as potential overtime, bonuses or incentives.
