Position Summary Software Engineer I is responsible for maintaining and developing software applications. The role includes problem solving, coding, debugging, testing, and troubleshooting throughout the application development process. It requires technical expertise and offers the opportunity to engineer systems and build reliable and secure healthcare services. Essential Functions Work in an agile environment. Contribute to project success by completing daily scrum tasks. Design, develop, test, and release software changes and enhancements. Maintain test"‘driven development to improve quality and support CI/CD. Work closely with QA to build automation tests. Meet Allied's expectations for productivity, quality, and goal accomplishment. Collaborate with managers to complete assigned tasks. Adhere to all relevant privacy and security laws, including HIPAA and HITECH. Attend required continuing education, including HIPAA training. Perform other duties as assigned. Education BS degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or an equivalent degree or work experience. Experience and Skills 2-4 years' experience developing software on Microsoft's platform. Strong understanding of SOLID principles and OOP. Excellent collaboration skills. Understanding of the SDLC lifecycle. Extensive experience coding in C#, /MVC, Web APIs, and WCF. Experience with SQL Server development, including stored procedures. Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills across the technology stack. Experience maintaining RESTful APIs. Commitment to high standards of data quality and integrity. Excellent verbal and written communication abilities. Exposure to agile development methodologies. Familiarity with Azure or AWS cloud environments. Familiarity with Joget. Familiarity with legacy systems such as VB6 and classic ASP.
