Job DescriptionA Regional Medical Scientific Senior Director Team Lead (MSL TL) is a credentialed therapeutic and disease expert who provides leadership, management, and accountability for a field"‘based team of RMSDs focused on Immunology - GI (Ulcerative Colitis and Crohn's Disease).Responsibilities and Primary ActivitiesLeadership and ManagementManages, recruits, and on"‘boards a team of field"‘based medical affairs professionals.Assesses RMSD performance through routine field observation, coaching visits, stakeholder feedback, and field/customer metric analysis.Assists with personal development plans and monitors goals for each municates assigned disease"‘state field execution plans and monitors performance against Scientific Exchange, Insights, Scientific Congresses, and Research objectives.Keeps current with resources and uses them to enhance team development.Provides input on internal resource development.Ensures compliance with ethics and compliance guidelines, including driver safety in the field.Planning and Project ManagementProvides project management for development and execution of assigned disease support plans in alignment with Executive Director, Field Medical Affairs.Provides input and/or project management to USMA and/or GMSA organizations as needed.Budget ManagementReviews and approves expense reports.Acts as a financial steward of company clusive Mindset and BehaviorDemonstrates eagerness to contribute to an environment of belonging, inclusion, and empowerment.Leads by example and serves as a role model for creating, leading, and retaining an inclusive workforce.Required Qualifications, Skills, & ExperienceMinimumMD/DO, PhD, or PharmD with demonstrated ability to lead and coach scientific/medical colleagues at all skill and knowledge levels.3+ years of experience in a field"‘based medical role with proven competency in customer engagement and education.Relevant therapeutic area knowledge in Immunology GI.Excellent interpersonal communication, presentation skills, integrity, teamwork, and business acumen, with focus on scientific education and dialogue.Thorough understanding of FDA, OIG, HIPAA, and other ethical guidelines, laws, and regulations relevant to the pharmaceutical industry.Ability to organize, prioritize, and work effectively in a constantly changing environment and to motivate a team to do the same.Desire to develop and manage a team in an environment of belonging, engagement, and empowerment, with a focus on transformation, inclusion, accountability, and foundational elements of inclusion.PreferredPrevious experience managing field"‘based medical personnel.Strong working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite and ability to interface effectively with technical platforms for medical information.Scientific/medical research experience, including a demonstrated record of scientific/medical publication.Salary Range$210,400.00 - $331,100.00BenefitsWe offer a comprehensive package of benefits.
