Military & Government Business Development ManagerLocation: Austin, Texas or Washington, DC (Remote considered for exceptional candidates)Compensation: $250,000 - $350,000 OTEThe MissionAn established aerospace manufacturer is expanding its presence across U.S. Military, Government, and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) programs. This role is responsible for driving strategic growth by identifying, developing, and securing new business opportunities across defense aviation markets.You will lead opportunities from initial engagement through contract award, combining relationship-driven business development with strong execution in government contracting environments.What You'll DoIdentify and pursue opportunities across U.S. Military, Government, and FMS programsBuild and manage a strong pipeline of strategic opportunitiesDevelop relationships with government agencies, military stakeholders, and prime contractorsLead RFQ/RFP responses and develop compliant proposals (FAR/DFARS)Execute pricing strategies aligned with "price-to-win" methodologiesPartner cross-functionally with engineering and operations teamsRepresent the organization at industry events and customer meetingsTrack pipeline performance and forecast revenueWhat You Bring8+ years in aerospace, defense, or government contracting BD/salesExperience with MIL/GOV/FMS proposals and contract negotiationsStrong knowledge of FAR and DFARSEstablished network within defense, government, or aerospace marketsAbility to interpret technical requirements and statements of workPreferredBachelor's degree (Business, Engineering, or related)Prior military experienceFamiliarity with DCAA/DCMA environmentsTravelUp to 25%Ideal ProfileA relationship-driven business development professional with deep government market knowledge, strong proposal expertise, and a track record of winning complex programs in defense and aerospace. #J-18808-Ljbffr
