Job Description

Our client, an established avionics innovator seeks a Director, Military Avionics Sales. This is a Remote role with 50% travel. In this high-impact leadership role, you'll shape the sales strategy, own revenue targets, coach the sales team, and engage key OEMs and defense customers directly. ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES Develop and execute strategy to expand customer base and drive accelerated growth. Create and implement expansion plans for existing accounts while pursuing new growth opportunities. Lead, coach, and develop sales team while remaining hands"‘on with major pursuits and strategic accounts. Oversee opportunity strategy from lead to close, including proposals, internal approvals, CRM discipline, and forecast accuracy. Build strong senior"‘level customer relationships and feed structured market and competitive insight back into product and portfolio planning. Partner closely with senior leadership, product, and marketing on portfolio focus, events/tradeshows, and overall go"‘to"‘market strategy. QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree, with excellent executive communication, financial acumen, and negotiation skills. Background in military/defense in avionics sales/business development Experience building strong relationships. Track record of building and leading sales teams to achieve ambitious revenue and growth goals. Solid understanding of complex deal structures, government contracting, and international trade considerations. Technically fluent, having worked closely with advanced avionics and electronic platforms. Willingness to travel frequently (up to ~50%). #J-18808-Ljbffr
