Job Summary Koniag Professional Services, LLC a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking a Senior Acquisition Analyst with a Secret security clearance to support KPS and our government customer. The position is remote. Koniag Professional Services (KPS) currently has an opening for a Sr. Acquisition Analyst for the Department of War, Office of the Under Secretary of War for Research and Engineering (OUSW (R&E)), CDAO Acquisition Office. Role Overview The successful candidate will be instrumental in shaping the CDAO's growth and innovation strategies through the identification, evaluation, and execution of strategic acquisitions under FAR, DFARS, and non"‘FAR authorities. This role involves leading end"‘to"‘end contracting processes, from market research and due diligence to post"‘award lessons learned, and working closely with Agreements Officers, Acquisition Branch leaders, and cross"‘functional teams. Responsibilities Contribute to the development and refinement of the organization's acquisition strategy within the digital and AI landscape. Conduct comprehensive market research to identify potential requirement targets in the digital and AI domains and assess emerging trends and competition opportunities. Assist the government with leading the evaluation and adoption of new acquisition approaches, tools, and methodologies that drive innovation and improve business processes. Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards. Provide technical consultative advisement to CDAO leaders on the appropriate use of FAR, DFARS, and non"‘FAR authorities. Provide cradle"‘to"‘grave contracting support for all contract types under FAR 16, including FFP, CPF, and T&M contracts. Develop cost schedules for FAR and non"‘FAR actions; perform cost/price and cost/price realism analysis using Proposal Analysis Techniques. Assist with the negotiation of contracts and agreements to ensure optimal terms and value for the organization. Lead due diligence efforts, coordinating with cross"‘functional teams to assess legal, operational, financial, and technical aspects of potential acquisitions. Conduct comprehensive financial analysis, including valuation assessments and development of financial models to support decision"‘making. Prepare detailed business cases outlining strategic rationale, synergies, and risk mitigation strategies for proposed acquisitions. Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership and stakeholders, gaining buy"‘in and support for proposed acquisitions. Collaborate with integration teams to ensure smooth post"‘acquisition integration, supporting key milestones and objectives. Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders and industry partners. Prepare documentation review for various documents, ensuring appropriate format and grammatical accuracy. Assist other team members with tasks and initiatives as needed to accomplish the overall mission. Requirements 10+ years of experience. Direct experience supporting a DoD Contracting Office. Knowledge of and experience with FAR, DFARS, and non"‘FAR acquisition policies and processes. Extensive experience developing and implementing commercial and non"‘commercial acquisition strategies. Experience in cradle"‘to"‘grave contracting support for all contract types under FAR 16. Extensive knowledge of artificial intelligence, machine learning, and data science concepts, methodology, techniques, and technologies. Experience conducting market research and analysis to identify potential acquisition targets and competitive landscapes for DoD Government Customers. Experience developing white papers, business cases, and executive-level recommendations. Strong organizational, project management, and problem"‘solving skills with impeccable multi"‘tasking abilities. Ability to uphold a strict level of discretion and confidentiality. Ability to translate conceptual discussions into clear presentations. Highly motivated professional capable of managing a demanding workload while prioritizing competing priorities. Excellent communication skills, high integrity, critical thinking, and leadership courage. Advanced MS Word and PowerPoint skills; proficient MS Teams, Excel, and Outlook application skills. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Education Bachelor's Degree in a related field. Security Pre"‘Requisite Must have a Current/Active DoD SECRET clearance and be eligible to be upgraded to TS/SCI. Office Location and Travel Remote.
