About the Role Are you an experienced Ellucian Banner professional who thrives on improving systems that power higher education? As a Banner Technical Consultant, you'll play a critical role in large scale implementations, maintaining, optimizing, and advancing enterprise Ellucian Banner environments for colleges and universities. This role focuses on hands"‘on technical problem"‘solving and system enhancement, supporting day"‘to"‘day operations, resolving complex issues, developing integrations, and leading upgrades or improvements that ensure Banner systems are stable, secure, and aligned with institutional goals. You will work closely with functional users and IT teams to translate business needs into effective technical solutions that directly support student, faculty, and administrative success. This is a remote opportunity with travel to college campuses. Responsibilities Provide consultation and support to clients during the implementation of the Ellucian Banner software suite and related applications. Troubleshoot and devise creative solutions to client requests regarding the Banner suite. Manage multiple clients and projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery of solutions based on client priorities. Qualifications 5+ years of experience within the Higher Education sector Expertise in Banner technologies and strong proficiency in PL/SQL Familiarity with database and IDE tools such as SQL Developer, Toad, Eclipse, or IntelliJ Proficiency in version control software like Git Ability to self-manage, handle multiple projects, and problem-solve efficiently Excellent communication skills and a strong focus on customer service Eagerness to learn, collaborate, and travel as required Required Skills Experience with Banner Extensibility tools and the Ellucian Ethos Platform Demonstrated experience in data migration Familiarity with Ellucian Insights and Experience (a big plus) Proven ability to integrate third"‘party applications with Banner Experience designing and implementing solutions using Banner Workflow Knowledge of implementing and supporting Banner Document Management or other imaging systems Experience supporting Degree Works Familiarity with automating batch processes using Automic Applications Manager or similar software Pay range and compensation package Salary range: $90,000 - $120,000 + Bonus Short & Long Term Disability coverage 3 weeks of vacation, sick leave, and paid holidays #J-18808-Ljbffr
