Overview Field Service Technician - Heavy Travel Position (Remote) at MillenniumSoft Inc. Location: San Diego, CA. Duration: 12 Months. Total Hours per week: 40. Client: Medical Devices Company. Job Category: GCS Technical. Level of Experience: Mid-Level. Employment Type: Contract on W2. Eligibility: US Citizens, GC Holders, GC EAD, OPT, CPT. Responsibilities Perform needed updates on MedBank products as required Track and maintain administrative requirements and data as required by client Accurately document time worked on each product and submit on-time Book travel in BD travel booking tool (BD will pay for air, hotel, rental car) Remediate MedBank and Pyxis devices with travel as needed; typical travel on Mondays and Fridays, with possible additional travel days depending on location Work hours commonly 8-10 hours per day, with occasional off-hours to access OR Suites when procedures aren't taking place Heavy travel position; assignments will be near the worker's location when possible Qualifications Strong communication and documentation skills Basic computer skills Strong attention to detail Ability to work independently or in a team Ability to work in nursing homes and hospitals day in and out Lifting requirements: ability to lift 70-pound objects from floor to chest level Hand-powered tools: operate powered drills, powered screwdrivers and other powered tools Manual tool manipulation: turn manual sockets, crescent wrenches and screwdrivers repeatedly over the course of a shift Ability to sit, kneel, squat, bend, and stand repeatedly during an 8-10 hour day Ability to push and pull heavy objects (on casters) Ability to perform fine motor tasks while reaching over the course of a shift Ability to carry a 40-pound pack on your back or shoulder for up to one hour Ability to drive distances of up to six hours in adverse weather conditions May be required to wear a respirator and pass a fit test and medical evaluation Ability to travel regionally and nationally Seniority level Mid-Senior level Employment type Contract on W2 Job function Engineering and Information Technology Industries Staffing and Recruiting #J-18808-Ljbffr
