This includes site due diligence, design engineering, permitting, construction operations, and commissioning.ResponsibilitiesProvide an excellent customer experience being the point person for customer interactions during project lifecycleDirectly execute multiple projects with full turnkey solutions concurrently at customer sitesManage the permitting of gas and electrical interconnection processes across several municipalities and utilitiesCoordinate with internal and external resources, customer stakeholders, contractors, engineers, and authorities having jurisdiction to deliver these projectsEffectively manage critical path of the project execution schedule to ensure on time projectsMitigate and resolve technical issues in design, procurement and construction to ensure these do not impact the critical pathPrioritize and escalate issues as necessary to maintain critical pathPrepare bid packages and manage the contracts for engineering and subcontractorsManage, meet, and progressively reduce cost targetsSupport site visits and job walks throughout the project lifecycleMaintain records and databases to regularly report progress to customers and internal stakeholdersDrive a culture of safety, quality and best practices in all aspects of a projects lifecycleManage project teams consisting of but not limited to:Project Engineers, Project Administrators, Permitting Consultants, Product Engineers, Construction Management, QA/QC Department, Commissioning, etcManage site construction manager and QA/QC processes. Oversee health and safety programs on site and ensure compliance for all relevant partiesCoordinate product specifications, including submittal reviews and approvalsNegotiate Prime and Subcontract agreements. Manage change orders and projects cost managementDirect the project turnover documentation, warranty administration, project closeout, and record keeping/retention processes and proceduresSupport communication with City, County, Building, Fire and other AHJ's on project related topicsEnvironmental impact risks and mitigationsQualificationsOver 7 years of experience in construction/project management (experience in distributed energy, solar, batteries, fuel cells, microgrids)Detailed understanding of development, contracting, procurement planning, construction, logistic, scheduling, estimating, and budgetingDelivery and execution of project plans, writing RFPs, leading procurement activities and negotiationsAbility to utilize industry tools to track cost expenditures and budget allocationsStrong working knowledge of Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint) and/or Google workplace applicationsProject Management software (Procore)Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and attention to detailAbility to handle large volumes of work and multi-task in a fast-paced environmentAbility to problem solve, think creatively, and timely resolve personnel and project-related issuesExcellent organization, documentation, written and verbal communication skillsDemonstrated experience with and full understanding of the following:Planning/Building department (AHJ) dynamics and schedule risksElectrical interconnection process/gas upgrades process with utilitiesContract negotiationRFP writing/managementBudget managementProject management process, tools, and softwareEstimatingContractor qualificationSafety and Quality (QA/QC)Does your experience not meet all of our posted requirements? New hires joining the company tend to be paid within the starting base pay range noted above, with opportunities to increase pay over time based on development of additional skills, competencies, and company-specific knowledge.This position is remote . The salary will be adjusted to reflect local market conditions based on employee location as well as the experience of the employee.
