Growing together.Wellness Coordinators, answer queue based incoming phone calls from health care providers and members, identifying type of assistance needed (benefits and eligibility, authorizations for treatment, provider referrals and resource identification). This position will also gather clinical information for licensed staff to render decisions based on clinical policy.This position is full-time, Monday - Friday. Employees are required to have flexibility to work any of our 8-hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of 8:00am - 4:30pm PST. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime.We offer weeks of paid training. The hours of training will be based on your schedule or will be discussed on your first day of employment.Primary ResponsibilitiesFocus on one call resolution, navigating through complex computer systems to identify the status of the request and provide appropriate response to callerDeliver information and answer questions in a confident manner to facilitate positive outcomes with the providers and members we serveComplete thorough documentation of call interactions with real time talking and typingServe as a resource or Subject Matter Expert for team members or internal customersMake outbound calls to families who have a child with Autism to discuss provider referrals and behavioral health needsData collection from providers, inputting information into multiple documentation systemsContact providers to clarify information, review benefits and authorizations, and assist with care coordinationCoordinate information to clinical team partnersTriage submission of clinical information, set up cases to improve timely review, and complete administrative follow-ups on casesWhat Are The Reasons To Consider Working For UnitedHealth Group?
