Position Overview Gold Gate Capital is seeking a detail"‘oriented and people"‘focused HR Generalist to join our growing team. This is a newly created role, reflecting our commitment to building a best"‘in"‘class employee experience as we continue to scale. The HR Generalist will own onboarding and offboarding processes end"‘to"‘end, ensuring every team member has a smooth and positive transition "” whether they're just joining us or moving on. This is a hybrid role requiring one day per week on"‘site (Mondays) at our Los Angeles office. Key Responsibilities Onboarding Coordinate and execute the full onboarding experience for new hires, from offer acceptance through first"‘week completion Prepare and process new hire paperwork, including I-9 verification, benefits enrollment, and policy acknowledgements Partner with IT, Payroll, and department managers to ensure day"‘one readiness (equipment, system access, workspace setup) Conduct new hire orientations that introduce employees to Gold Gate Capital's culture, values, and processes Serve as the primary point of contact for new employees during their first 30 days Offboarding Manage the full offboarding lifecycle for departing employees, including exit interviews, final paperwork, and systems access revocation Coordinate with Payroll to ensure timely and accurate final pay processing Collect and document exit feedback to identify trends and improvement opportunities Ensure compliance with all applicable federal and California state employment laws throughout the offboarding process General HR Support Maintain accurate and up"‘to"‘date employee records in the HRIS Assist with benefits administration, including fielding employee questions about health insurance and 401(k) Support additional HR projects and initiatives as the department grows Serve as a responsive and approachable resource for employees with HR"‘related questions Qualifications 2+ years of HR experience with direct exposure to onboarding and/or offboarding Working knowledge of California employment law and HR best practices Strong organizational skills and the ability to juggle multiple priorities Excellent interpersonal and communication skills "” you're someone people feel comfortable approaching Familiarity with HRIS, ATS, and CRM platforms; proficiency with Microsoft Office or Google Workspace High degree of discretion when handling sensitive employee information Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred; PHR/SHRM"‘CP a plus Pay rate: $25.00/hour Health insurance Hybrid schedule "” primarily remote, with Mondays in our Los Angeles office Gold Gate Capital is an equal opportunity employer.
