Remote position but candidates must live in the greater LA County Market. The Green Tech District Sales Manager provides leadership to sales teams and service technicians in an assigned territory to achieve regional sales and profit goals.What You'll DoProfessionally represent SiteOne Green Tech and its products to end usersRepresent SiteOne Green Tech and its products at local, regional, and national tradeshowsHunt new construction and retrofit sales opportunitiesPresent in "Lunch and Learn" environment to landscape architects and irrigation designersParticipate in job walks with public agencies and contractor customersMaintain Salesforce pipeline to achieve assigned sales goalsPerform radio and cellular site surveys to ensure proper communication for new installationsProvide product training to end-usersConduct pre-construction meetingsSchedule and execute weekly territory planProvide quotes for customers requested projectsComplete sales proposals including specifications, quotations and submittalsSkills We Are SeekingFour-year degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.Requires four plus years outside sales and specification experience in the landscape / irrigation industryExperience in landscape architecture or irrigation designMust possess demonstrated sales and marketing skills and knowledge of relevant technologies (i.e. Global Positioning Systems, guidance sensors, remote sensing, irrigation, and other automation forms)Knowledge of computerized central irrigation control systems and prefabricated pump stationsPossess knowledge of landscape / irrigation products and practices and be able to understand and perform calculations from landscape / irrigation designsSelf-starter with proficiency in MS Office and excellent communication and presentation skillsCertified Irrigation Technician (CIT) or Certified Irrigation Contractor (CIC) through the Irrigation AssociationExperience conducting field troubleshooting, repairs and/or installation of commercial/municipal irrigation control equipmentComputer Skills - Excel, Word, Power Point, Outlook and ability to learn proprietary company softwareExperience with CRM tools, specifically SalesforceKnowledge of specification sales managementStrong knowledge of technical irrigation and landscape productsMust have a positive and winning attitudePossess high mechanical aptitudeKnowledge of irrigation hydraulic principlesKnowledge of pump station hydraulic and electrical componentsKnowledge of central control irrigation systems - Including but not limited to Toro/Rain Master, HydroPoint/WeatherTrak/Baseline, Rain Bird and HunterMust have a positive attitude and good communication skillsStrong desire to learn new products/techniquesMust have clean DMV recordAbility to travel up to 10%Spanish Speaking is a plusCompensation & BenefitsCompetitive CompensationMedical, Dental and Vision plansPaid Time Off, Paid HolidaysDailyPay available!401k with company matchTuition ReimbursementLucrative Associate Referral ProgramCompany Apparel and Work Boot VouchersOpportunity for AdvancementPaid Training and Business Certifications AvailableFree Counseling Services/Employee Assistance ProgramLife Insurance and Short- and Long-Term Disability InsuranceProduct DiscountsMost Branches never work Sundays!Note: The information contained herein is not intended to be an exhaustive list of all responsibilities, duties and qualifications.
